Chapter 8: China and the World

The Tang Dynasty was founded by Emperor Gaozu by the beginning of the golden age in china. The golden age was the best time china had. They made many improvements in technology and literature. For example book were printed for the first time in the history of the world. And their culture was expanded and better than never. Before the Tang dynasty there was the Sui dynasty. Unfortunately it collapsed because of the ruthlessness of the Sui emperors and there futile military. Right after they collapse the Tang and the Song Dynasty came along. The song dynasty was the richest and most skilled population in the world. In another words china was having the time of there lives during the golden age. The en of the golden age was around in 1450.

Chapter 10 The Worlds of Christianity

During 500-1300 china believed in christianity so later then other places like south Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, and parts of India had a lot of people who followed christianity. Asian Christianity, after Muhammad's death, discrimination for christians occurred, discriminations happened so fast that not a lot of christians groups where able to survive. African Christianity, mainly the middle east had trouble with christianity because Islam was a very big religion over there. Christianity did became a major religion for Egypt after the muslim conquest.
The Byzantine State is the continuation of the roman empire. Byzantine came after the fall of the roman empire. According to the book the Byzantine empire was an impressive creation. There political authority was controlled in the Constantinople ideas. The Byzantine territory shrank after 1085. The end officially came in 1453.

Intro to Chapter 7 Commerce and Culture

In chapter 7 we learn how trade work back in those days. Silk roads was an ancients network of trading routes. These roads where mainly used in Eurasia. Eurasia was one of the worlds most expensive and sustainable network of trading in the world around those ancient times. The silk road created unity among the people who trade through it. Eurasia was often divided into parts, that had different environments. Civilizations like China, India, Russia, and the middle east and much more is what Eurasia consisted off.

Chapter 5: Society and Inequality in Eurasia/North Africa

In the beginning of the chapter it was funny how the describes Chinas social as an Elite. It was believed because of the unique actions of the state. China had a very good political power.
I also read how Confucius advocated for the people. H requested for people to have immortality rather than birth or wealth. Those where weird belief because back in the time Philosophers believed in immortality.
In china the majority of the population consisted of peasants. Some peasants had enough land to sell on local markets but some others nearly had to give to there families. It was hard for people in that time because authorities demanded for taxes every month. There where even times when peasants had to sell their land and became workers for large landlords.
Also related to China is India in their social organization. In both organization birth determined the social status of a person. Birth dined pretty much how the person was going to live.

Presidential Debate Related to Confucius Rules

In the debate Hilary was the person who I can mostly relate the Confucius rules to. Hillary proved to be a prepared leader. Donald Trump only made Hilary seem like the person who doesn't get anything done. The Confucius rule I choose was number 2: The value in the act is the rightness of the action regardless of the intention or the consequences of the act. Trump said that Hilary has been politics for so long but all of has been a bad experience, none of her experience was good. He basically said she has never made an impact. Hilary responded to Trump by saying how her intension where good, and she at least had a plan unlike Trump he doesn't have a plan.

Chapter 3 States and Empire

Chapter Three

States and Empire in Eurasia/North Africa

In this chapter we learned how North Africa and Eurasia witness more civilization came to the world. One of the most impressive empires was the Persian Empire. The book uses the word  impressive and it sure used it well. What seem impressive to me was ho fast they grew, from 35 million to 50 million. They grew so much because the conquered India and Egypt. It was kinda of funny because i am doing a report on human rights and Cyrus the Great plays a big role in human rights. Cyrus the Great was the leader of this empire around 530-557 B.C.E. He was the leader who set the slaves free and allowed people to believe in any religion they wanted.

First Civilization

First Civilizations

It was 3500 B.C.E. to 3000B.C.E when the first civilization emerged to three places, Mesopotamian, Egyptian, and Norte Chico.  In Mesopotamian was a collection of different cultures. The people there were connected by a bond which consisted of there scripts, there god and attitude toward women. I didn't understand the book very well so i made a little bit of research to out the powerful bond all of southern Mesopotamians had. In Egypt there main belief was there gods. People believe in the after life. There main goal in life was to prepare themselves to the afterlife. Norte Chico was a different civilization in several ways. First they tended to be much smaller cities and had less economic evidence then Mesopotamia. I was surprised when i read how Norte Chico did not developed pottery or writing. I think the most interesting civilization was the Egyptian civilization because there belief were really amazing. The pyramids have a lot of story that sounds ver interesting.

Chapter 1 Sect: Agriculture

Chapter 1 Section: Agriculture

This section talks about agriculture and the many ways our ancestors used the ground for a good use. Agriculture was originated in many places, but it spread fast around the whole world. Farming was used in two ways. One was diffusion, the gradual spread of agricultural techniques. It many means how it moved without the work of people. And the second process involves colonization. As the population started to grow they pushes the farming outwards. So in a way as the population started to grow the "crops" started to grow too. Its wasn't fast but everything started to grow. The culture of agriculture starts in the agricultural revolutions. Due to the agricultural revolution the human population stated to grow and so did the crop productivity. Early agriculture was found near Jericho with 2,000 people, but it didn't took long when the population stated to grow.

History shows how agriculture was in the early times. The people would have there crops and cattle and have it in there own house. It was more like domestication. The tools they used where hand made and straight out of there heads. In the way that they came with the tools they used. It is pretty amazing how the people where so created and so smart with so little of what they had.

Out of Africa

Intro to Chapter 1: Out of Africa & The Ways We Were

In this section we read how Homo sapiens first emerge to the grassland of eastern and southern Africa. It was about 200,00 to 250,000 years ago when history predicts Homo sepias started in Africa. Sometimes its hard to find evidence from our Homo sepias ancestors due to time and climate change. It has come to my attention why they started in Africa were there people way before somewhere else? Early Humans started evolving with the collection of evidence of hunting and fishing. Its surprising  to learn how homo sepias moved from Africa to Eurasia, Australia, and the Americas with only there stone tools and there gathering and hunting abilities. Yay-I'm dome!!
